Memorial ride for Darcy Lane in Surrey - Meet at the Bike Zone around 6:30 or so, roll out by 7:15.

"On Sunday, May 31, 2009 the cruiser community of Vancouver lost a great friend and enthusiast; he will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Darcy was a founding member of The 362's and a regular rider of the Thursday night rides in Surrey; a memorial ride was therefore declared for the Thursday, June 4, 2009 after his passing.
It was to be a small gathering of friends that had ridden with Darcy throughout his downhill and cruiser riding years; it was an impromptu but natural decision that was made just days prior to the ride and as such only a handful of people were expected to come out and ride the trails of Green Timbers that Darcy loved so much.
As Thursday approached and we finally made our way to the Bike Zone I was in shock to see almost sixty riders ready to ride and celebrate Darcy's life. A night that would have made Darcy proud....not over how many Kokanee's were drank but of all the people that took time out of their schedule to honor a great friend.
Rest in Peace Darcy and may you always have a tail wind at your back....."
