Trevor Porter

Trevor is a really nice guy. This is a video about him.

Allow me to introduce… Myself.
Kona is a company packed with amazing and talented people. People with families, people with cool interests and as you probably guessed, a whole bunch of people that ride. We want you to meet these people face to face, to get to know them and have a look behind the scenes to see what makes everyone here tick.
To kick things off in our new My Kona series of videos we’d like to introduce you to Trevor Porter. Trevor works out of our Canadian office. Like most of us at Kona, he handles a few different responsibilities. Trevor is the sales rep for British Columbia, works in the Kona Product Group and takes care of Canadian SuperGrass riders. But he can tell you all that (and more) in person.

Hells yes!

O hells yes! A new edit for Fox featuring some really great DH talent. Steve Smith and Connor Fearon rippin trails is what I want to watch.

Always a good time shooting our Spring '15 downhill collection with Steve Smith and Connor Fearon. Watching these two ride together is pure style and attitude. Check out the extra footage of Josh Bryceland and Connor at the end of the video.

hawaii

Summer is on the way...
Cross-country mountain biking is all about going fast. It's about racing and winning and beating your buddies and throwing the hammer down. It's also about having a blast riding singletrack. We took the racing gear off, and the heart rate monitors, and took our featherlight carbon Kona XC Race Light bikes--the Hei Hei Supreme, Hei Hei Deluxe, and King Kahuna on a little spin through the wilds of Maui. Because at Kona, we can't make it super fast without having it be really fun.

Love at first sight

This is a pretty great short ad for the new Kona Precept.

Dylan Shredhard and From Kona Bicycles, longtime creators of passionately forged two-wheeled emotion, comes one of the most inspirational webisodes of the year. This is what a couple's ride should be. A brand new, super affordable, great riding bike, covered in a dash of love. New love actually. Dylan Sherrard shines in his acting debut, striking a performance so convincing, so real, you actually see him falling head over heals.

bigquotesOne of the best feel good webisodes of the year...try and hold back the tears, we dare you. - Plentyofcyclists.com

bigquotesDylan Sherrard's performance is commanding. If he didn't actually fall in love, I'd be shocked. - Sally Feldman, Hook Up Today

bigquotesWe didn't want it to be so cheesy, but when the bees starting buzzing and the baby frogs go leaping, it's virtually impossible to stop the fromage waterfall from overflowing. - Jay Trusler, Director of Photography for Love at First Sight.

Check out Dylan and Diana get all puppy-eyed on Kona’s new entry-level 27.5 dual suspension Trail bikes, the 2014 Precept and Precept DL.
This is the entry-level version of our new Process Platform, with great standover, 27.5-inch wheels, plush rear suspension and capable geometry that makes both models, the Precept and Precept DL, very easy to fall in love with. All at a price that will leave you wide-eyed and rosy-cheeked.

Van Life 2

This edit is really well put together. Lots of style in this short film about Kona Rider Ryan Gardner on his Satori.

Ryan Gardner is a Kona Supergrass rider who travels around the United States in his van to race his mountain bike professionally. This video features Knapps Castle trail in the backcountry of Santa Barbara, California.
To make this video we used Magic Lantern software installed on Canon 5D iii cameras to shoot RAW video. This allowed us to gain more dynamic range and make each shot incredibility sharp. We also used a Red EPIC for the slow motion shots and a GoPro 3 for the octocopter and POV shots.

Kona 650b Process?

I have a strong suspicion this is a 650b bike. Plus Matthew Slaven races for Kona and is clearly not riding a bike from their current line up. Math = 2014 650b Kona Process.
Spyshots, first look at 2014 Kona Process 650b
Kona Factory enduro racer, Matthew Slaven, leaves the mud and Sasquatch behind to shred some flowy, rocky, cliff-side trails in the sun. Spring is here and it's time to ride! Credit: Miles Sullivan and Cory Tepper

Carbon Kona Operator

So it looks like Kona has been putting something really cool together recently. Both Connor Fearon and Graham Agassiz are aboard a new version of the Operator, new linkage, internal cable routing and integrated bumpers are visible in the shots and apparently these things are wickedly light, Aggy's bike weighing in at 34 lbs. Nice...

Mitch Delfs, has joined the Kona Downhill team for the 2011 UCI race season. The first race is April 23-24 in Mitch's home country of South Africa.

This is, hands down the best edit I have seen in recent months, enjoy:
