Memorial Cruise June 4th

Our community unfortunately has had to send one of our good ole soul's to the cruiser ride in the sky
DarcyDarcy was the head tech and manager at Cap's in Langley. He previously had worked at the Bike Zone in Surrey for many years, where many of us had the fortunate opportunity to get to know him, his bikes, and his two beloved dogs Cali and Rocco.
Darcy like many of us, had a love for "bikeling" as we called it. He loved his years of downhilling at Whistler Bike Park, the Water Shed in Delta, and the North Shore. He shared this passion with many, which had to come to an end due to the stress it placed on his already replaced false hip; so he replaced the downhill rides with cruiser rides which began many years before on Thursday nights from the Bike Zone.
For those that had the opportunity to get to know Darcy, you learned quite quickly that there was a big heart in this tattooed full on fellow. His happiest moments were when he was surrounded by his friends and their bikes. We all wish to pass on our warmest wishes and love to his Mom "Momma Lane", his Step Dad Gord, and his younger brother Jamie.
We will keep you all posted as to details of services. Should any of you require further info, please contact George, Chopper Ron, or myself.
There will be a memorial ride this Thursday, June 4/09 7:30PM from the Bike Zone parking lot to the usual Thursday "rest areas" that Darcy loved to frequent with the Riff Raff. Look forward to seeing all!

Two videos from the Cruise, see you all next year!
