Human helicopter

Some guy with giant legs flew on his cervelo recently
On June 13th, 2013, the AeroVelo's Atlas Human-Powered Helicopter captured the long standing AHS Sikorsky Prize with a flight lasting 64.1 seconds and reaching an altitude of 3.3 metres. The competition was initially opened in 1980, and over the course of the 33 years that followed, dozens of teams from around the world pushed the limits of existing technology in pursuit of this once-thought-to-be impossible goal. This video is a compilation of footage from the record flight, as well as previous test flights. For uncut videos of the record flight visit the AeroVelo YouTube Channel. Music by Nick Martel, Dan Gauthier and Ray Footage by AeroVelo and Martin Turner of Visiblize.com

Valmont bike park

This is QuadCopter aerial video of Valmont bike park located in Boulder, Colorado. This City park has everything, gravity fed lines, all levels jumps, and features normally reserved for resort-type bike parks like Whistler. What the folks at Alpine bike parks have created looks epic.

Stop SOPA

The United States Congress is trying to push some legislation through the system THAT WILL CHANGE THE FACE OF INTERNET AS WE KNOW IT.  Gizmodo has a really nice layman's terms article explaining the bill and its effects HERE, which is definitely worth a read if you're not familiar with what is going on. Then, after you're filled with enough rage at the people pushing this shit, you can go HERE, HERE or HERE to write your congressperson and tell them you didn't elect them  LET YOUR INTERNET-LOVING VOICE BE HEARD.
