Releaf Tree Planting

This morning at Invergarry Park/Invergarry Bike Park.

The City of Surrey, local community volunteers,, and a team from SORCE will be on hand in Invergarry Planting trees today. If you would like to help out, the fun starts at 10am this morning.

Invergarry Park is located at Surrey Road & Wallace Drive in North Surrey, British Columbia.

From the City of Surrey Site:
Plant the next shrub or tree in Surrey parks and along boulevards. We'll provide the plants, shovels, and instruction - you just have to bring your love for beautifying our City and enhancing the trees in Surrey!
Since 1991, volunteers have planted over 10,000 trees throughout Surrey. Thousands of volunteers have made an impact, like
  • community groups,
  • elementary and secondary schools,
  • local businesses, and
  • individuals who care about their environment.
Sign up for a Releaf tree planting or learn more about volunteering from our Environmental Stewardship Coordinator at 604-501-5158 or environment@surrey.ca. Space is limited for these planting programs, so reserve ahead to avoid disappointment!

Habitat Enhancement Planting

Plant native trees and shrubs in Surrey parks. By planting, you'll give wildlife valuable food and shelter, and boost biodiversity in parks and natural areas.
When we plant: Every October. Open to all ages.
How to get involved: Find out which parks we're working on at 604-501-5158 or environment@surrey.ca.
