Anthony Messere

The Ranchstyle 2011 comp went down last weekend in Colorado. Local Surrey shredder Anthony Messere beat out a bunch of top names and walked away with the Silver medal in slopestyle. Great Work!

Anthony placed Second to Greg watts(former CrankWorx Slopestyle champion), Fourth at Jamie Goldman's invitational recently, and won Best trick at UDUG. That's one hell of way to start the year! Keep your eyes peeled for more of this young talent.

Here's an Iphone video of the action:

Burke ride

We rode Burke a couple of Saturdays ago. Mark was on Go Pro duty. Here's the edit from his voyage down the mountain. Mark was absolutely killing it, but happened to take two tumbles while the camera was rolling(don't worry he's fine), watch and enjoy.

OPEN HOUSE

We had a really great turn out for the Open House. If you weren't able to make it out there, you still have the ability to have your opinions heard. We have attached the comment form PDF. Simply fill it out and fax or email it to the City.

During the Open House we also had an opportunity to ask some hard questions about the other bike parks in Surrey which have no organization to look after them(Port Kells and Cloverdale). A representative for the City of Surrey told us we will be contacted within ten days regarding some much needed servicing/maintenance/improvements to the Port Kells Jumps. We also met with new SORCE president Dale Thiessen who was out to show support for the Invergarry bike park. We talked about the future of bike parks in Surrey and the future of SORCE, stay tuned for more.....

We were at the pump track on Easter Sunday. We did some routine maintenance and made changes to some features. Here's a rainy video of the triple becoming a crown:
