Shlohmo - video marsh

LOL Boys - Changes (Shlohmo remix) from Video Marsh on Vimeo.

LA producer Shlohmo’s latest music video features some really amazing visuals from the masterminds at video marsh.

By now people probably know we are big fans of video marsh here at dirtwest. This new video is no different. This video has an unmistakeable chilling feel to it. The strong monochromatic visuals leave vivid impressions of what seem to be lost memories floating to the surface of a young girls consciousness. The prominent strobe-like editing effects sync up flawlessly with the unmistakably creepy visuals we have come to expect from the team at Video Marsh

Shlohmo - Remixed

This is the brand new video for a really excellent new track. Our friends at Video Marsh dropped this gem late last night.

The video seems to delve into a massively deranged psychology. The first and last shots of this video add an extremely dark overtone to an otherwise hypnotically pleasant hallucination. The high contrast between the wonderfully colourful abstract moving shapes continually merging and dissolving into one another offset by vague images of remembered faces floating to the surface increased the impact of the already undeniably dark and macabre finale.

There is definitely a lot of hidden stuff in this one, you might want to watch it again.
